Airways devices are the masks that are worn by the patient with sleep apnea during the time of sleeping. The masks are mostly over the nose and some masks wear on the nose and throat these airways pressure devices supply the pressurized air into the throat continuously during sleep due to the pressure the airways do not collapse.  The use of these machines is effective for people with apnea. 

 Oral Devices 

Oral devices are also used for the treatment of sleep apnea. These devices are approved by FDA the oral devices are holding the lower jaw which keeps the airways open the muscles of the upper jaw and tongue prevent the airways from collapsing. 

The oral devices are like most people suffering from apnea because it is more comfortable than airways pressure masks. The common features of the devices are portable, easy to use, and convent for travelers.

 Dental Sleep Apnea Devices 

Dental devices are similar to oral devices. The devices are placed to the upper and lower teeth the devices are made with hard plastics and metal hinges and screws which are used to tighten the lower jaw. The dentists are also made customized devices to treat Sleep Apnea but before using customized devices you should check the experience and qualification of the dentist related to the sleep disorders.

All devices for Sleep Apnea are effective but use any of the devices without consultation of the sleep doctor.
